UC Day at the Capital
All ten campuses, Berkeley and Livermore National laboratories, Agriculture and Natural Resources, and the multi-campus research centers were invited to showcase the University of California’s green research.
The Institute of Transportation Studies, at UCDavis was invited to display two of its advanced vehicles, the plug-in hybrid electric and fuel cell hybrid vehicles. In total, more than 50 people from state agencies, general public and academia viewed and asked questions about the vehicles. As a result of exposure at UC Day, the FCHV and PHEV programs have been asked to attend at least 3 events in the near future.
